Mallory Isaac,

Licensed Counseling

Therapist -candidate

Mallory Isaac is a Licensed Counselling Therapist-Candidate with the New Brunswick College of Counselling Therapists. She is also an intern for marital and family therapy in Quebec. Her educational background includes a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University (2022) and a Bachelor of Science degree from Mount Allison University with a major in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry (2015). To further her skill set in marriage and family therapy she completed five courses specifically in that area. This allowed her to complete “Gottman Method Couple Therapy (Level 1)” and become a certified “Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts” (SYMBIS) Assessment Facilitator. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Social Work from Dalhousie University. 

 

Before working in the field of mental health, Mallory worked for three years as an Indigenous Knowledge Researcher in New Brunswick. Prior to that, she held multiple positions within her community of Listuguj Quebec, one of which was in Child and Family Services working with families and children. Her experience working with foster families, students in educational settings and seniors equips Mallory to work in  multitude situations with various age groups. 

 

Mallory’s calm and open attitude makes her an excellent listener and she is proud to begin a life-long goal of working in the field of mental health. She is excited to be joining the Mind at Peace Center’s team at the Campbellton Office.
