Tiffanie LaBillois is a Licensed Counseling Therapist (Candidate) with the New Brunswick College of Counseling Therapist and a member of the Canadian counseling psychotherapy association. Her educational background includes a Masters of Education degree in Counseling Psychology (University of New Brunswick), Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Thomas University, with an emphasis is psychology and Native Studies. Tiffanie is currently working on receiving a Play Therapy certification and will continue her level III studies this Fall with the Maritime Play Therapy Center.
Having worked with Indigenous children, youth and families for over 10 years in various roles as a school community coordinator, Director of Education and as a clinical counselor, she practices from a "Two-Eyed Seeing", trauma informed, person-centered, strength based holistic approach. Tiffanie's focus is on reducing the mental health stigma and providing access to culturally sensitive services. Her strengths are providing clients with a tailored treatment plan to each individual's unique needs and recognizing that healing is a deeply individual and personal journey. Not only does she have a great therapeutic background, she also combines her practice that is deeply rooted in her indigenous culture and her connection to spirit.
Tiffanie brings a wealth of expertises and culturally sensitivity knowledge to the team at the Mind at Peace Centre in Campbellton, where she can contribute to the clinic's mission of providing high-quality, collaborative and compassionate care to individuals seeking support on their healing journey.
