TEAM MEMBERS

    Eve Arseneau is a registered licenced psychologist who graduated with a Bachelor and Master's Degree from the Université de Moncton.  She has more than 14 years experience working with children, adolescents and adults in her field of work.  She has worked in a hospital setting, in a CLSC in Montreal and presently works in a children-youth team, as part of the Integrated Service Delivery model for the Province of New Brunswick.  She works in concert in her private practice as co-owner since 2017.

Dr Annie Jalbert

PhD.

Resident in Psychology

     Annie Jalbert is a resident in psychology with a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Université de Moncton and a PhD from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She also completed postdoctoral research on the link between bilingualism and cognitive deficits associated with aging, and another postdoctoral fellowship where she worked on the development of psychological tests for the selection of military personnel into specialized occupations. Annie has more than 7 years of experience in psychological assessments. She is currently working at Chaleur Regional Hospital where she conducts assessments with preschool children and neuropsychological assessments with adults to aid with the diagnosis of dementia and cognitive impairments.

She works in concert with Mind at Peace Center.

Natalie

Mallet-Boudreau

M.A.Ps., LPsych.

   Natalie is a registered psychologist and has been practicing since 2007. During her career, Natalie has offered psychological services to adults as well as with children and teens for a variety of mental health issues including depression and anxiety disorders. Her practice is based on cognitive-behavioral techniques but also strongly grounded in the principles and tools of emotion regulation such as mindfulness. She has transgender health issues at heart. She offers counselling to those individuals and their family. She also can complete the required psychological evaluation for gender confirming surgeries. Natalie offers psychological evaluation services for the diagnostics including Specific Learning Disability and Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder. Natalie is now offering the psychological evaluation for the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder in collaboration with Sophie Lévesque, Speech and Language Therapist for the Mind at Peace Center.

Anik Turner

     Anick Turner is a licensed psychologist who graduated with a Master's Degree from Université de Moncton. She has been working with children and teens for the past 23 years. Anick has worked for more than 6 years in the Miramichi Center for youth, since then, she has worked in school settings throughout her career. She presently works within the Child and Youth Teams in the Restigouche/Chaleur regions, specializing in school psychology where she offers direct and indirect services to the Anglophone North School District students. Her services with Mind at Peace Center Mieux-Etre are to provide psycho-educational evaluations for children, teens and young adults.

Rebecca Losier-Chiasson

     Rebecca Losier-Chiasson is a Doctorial student in psychology and will be completing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Université de Moncton this coming fall (2019). During her studies, she practiced with the child and youth teams in both the Chaleur et Acadian Peninsula areas during which she developed a keen interest with anxiety and attachment disorders. Also while practicing, she had the opportunity of working with an adult population. As part of her doctoral thesis, Rebecca conducted a qualitative scientific research on the access to Mental Health Services for the francophone youths of New-Brunswick.

Resident in psychology

     Karine Roy is a Doctorial student at Université de Moncton and will be completing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology during the summer 2021. Her thesis pertains to bullying in sibling groups and its impact on adult romantic relationships. Karine also gained professional experience while doing a practicum with the Child and Youth team in the Restigouche area. Presently, Karine is doing her last practicum with the adult population at the Chaleur Bathurst Hospital and working in concert with the Center.

Chantale Roy

M.A.Ps., LPsych.

   Chantale holds a Master's Degree in Psychology from the Université de Moncton. She has worked as a psychologist in schools for 20 years and has been offering clinical support through her private practice for the past 10 years. During her journey in the francophone school district, she worked with clients from kindergarten to grade 12, and in her private practice, she mainly works with adults. Chantale has developed and led many wellness workshops with her clinical work focused on helping women become aware of their debilitating beliefs and leading them toward more empowering thoughts and actions.  At Mind at Peace Centre, she works part time and mainly offers support to adult females and may also be available for psychoeducational assessments.
